This is the new Nashville Writer's Night which is open for sign up encouraging songwriters to perform each and every Thursday evening at Bobby's Idle Hour on Music Row. Bobby's Idle Hour is located at 1028 16th Avenue South (Music Row). Songwriter rounds start at 6:30 p.m. and continue until 10:30 p.m. We start at 6:30 p.m. so the industry folks can pop in right after work for a cold refreshment and some great new music.

Bobby's Idle Hour has been a hang out for many famous songwriters, artists, and music industry heads over the years, and to this day continues to be an important part of the Nashville music scene. You just never know who might be sitting at the legendary bar. We couldn't have found an establishment with a richer music history, in tune with the industry, or more adored by so many industry veterans anywhere in Music City. The Idle Hour builds community by the sheer fact they welcome every single customer through their front door, and readily introduce their customers to one another. The owners never lose sight of the time-honored tradition songwriting brings to Nashville making it the most renowned city in the world for legendary music.

We've contacted many of our industry friends including successful songwriters, producers, publishers, publicists, managers, agents, and a lot of other really cool people, inviting them out to hear the great songs bound to be performed here each week. We certainly look forward to contributing to the songwriting legacy that has made Bobby's Idle Hour a legendary institution on Music Row. We'd love for you to come be part of it all.
